You may have to provide evidence of your enrolment for the current academic year to third parties. These may include housing associations, student accommodation letting agents, sports clubs, banks or benefits agencies. In this case, you can present them with a certificate of enrolment.
How to download your certificate of enrolment
If your enrolment is final, you can download your certificate of enrolment yourself. It will be available on the My Avans tab of iAvans. Please go to ‘Certificate of enrolment’ and click the ‘Documenten ophalen’ button.
The certificate of enrolment states your personal details, study programme details and your exact period of enrolment.
You do not need this document for any purpose at Avans. If you want to know more about showing proof of identity when sitting tests and the documents considered valid ID, then please consult the Exam rules and regulations.
The certificate of enrolment used to be provided only once every academic year, on paper. Now, you can download it yourself at any time, provided you meet all the requirements set out in the Terms of enrolment and have arranged payment of your tuition fees. You can check the status of your payment in Studielink.
Adding Certificate of enrolment to iAvans
Once your enrolment/re-enrolment is final, you will be able to download and print your certificate of enrolment at any time. The certificate of enrolment will be available on the My Avans tab of iAvans. Please go to ‘Certificate of enrolment’ and click the ‘Documenten ophalen’ button to download your certificate. If you do not see the certificate field on this page, you can add this field yourself. Please complete the following steps:
- Go to the ‘My Avans’ tab on iAvans. Please click ‘+Widget’ in the top right-hand corner.
- Click ‘Applications’ on the left and expand the ‘Avans Portlets’ tab.
- Choose ‘Bewijs’ and click ‘Toevoegen’.
