Here you find some addresses of general practitioners (‘huisarts’ in Dutch). If you need medical help you first contact a doctor or dentist. It is not common and recommended to go immediately to a hospital.
Some general practitioners or dentists may ask you to pay in cash. You will receive a receipt that you can use to request reimbursement by your health insurer. Others may charge the expenses directly to your insurance company. Please discuss this matter with your insurance company and the doctor or dentist prior to your visit.
NOTE: You will always have to bring your passport/ID-card and health insurance papers with every visit.
