They will be able to tell you with which universities, in which countries, Avans University of Applied Sciences has entered into a study exchange agreement. Please note: all contracts with partner universities are concluded on the basis of a specific course of study and with a specific school/study programme. This means that each school has its ‘own’ partner institutions. Their students have priority when it comes to allocating the (sometimes limited) study places on offer at these institutions. Each school has a list of its own partner institutions.
Important information
Once your study programme has given you permission to go abroad, you need to draw up a list of your top three schools/study programmes. You have until 1 April (for the first semester) and until 1 October (for the second semester) to notify your school of your choices.
Alternative study places for motivated students
What happens if your study programme cannot offer you any programmes abroad, or your chosen schools/study programmes are full? In this case, your school can act as an intermediary with other schools within Avans. This is because any unused study places abroad can be filled with motivated students from another school. The International Office will ultimately put the student’s name forward to the partner institution, which then initiates an application/enrolment procedure.
